Let me redefine my “standards” or characteristics that I am looking for in my future wife. The original was, in no order;

1) Canadian. This one time in Mexico… It was a community service day and I was being my normal hyper-talk-to-everyone-self (normal for when I am hyper, not other times).  I joined some random group and they were from Canada. I met this one girl, and man, was she pretty. Her name was Kim, and she was one of the only girls that I would have moved for. *sighs*

2) Drummer. Our church has always seemed to have a shortage of drummers. I don’t know why. And as a bassist, I thought that I should marry a drummer so that they could always be able to play. I desided that the drummer should be a girl so I could marry her.

3) Beautiful. Why would I marry someone that wasn’t beautiful in my eyes?

4) Loves the Lord more than I. What do you think makes her beautiful? This is one that is uncompromisable! I want someone that will be crazy for the Lord, I want her heart to burn for Him more than anything. But I want to be second. πŸ™‚

    LOL, or maybe you’ll fall for a georgian/wisconsonian/minnesotan. Hummm. wonder how many of those there are in this world?

    …yeah, I would even move to Canada and get Canadian citizenship for you. πŸ˜‰

    Yes yes, funny comments from the ice queen. Just remember not to take everything she says at face value. πŸ˜‰

    1) Just because you found one Canadian that you liked doesn’t mean that all Canadians are worthwhile. Same goes for Americans or Ethiopians . . . That’s a logical fallacy, but I can’t remember which.

    2) This just seems like a silly quirk, so I’ll dismiss it as such and overlook all the problems with mandating something that shallow for your wife. πŸ™‚

    3) The last three words change this requisite from disgustingly arrogant to sensible and sweet.

    4) The concept makes perfect sense (it’s on my list too), but why must she love the Lord more than you do? Is it inconceivable that you love him more than she does?

    One more thing: I appreciate your perspective that a girl’s love for the Lord would make her beautiful.

    And I’m afraid I’m not the woman for you. πŸ˜›
