“And I wish I was Michael J. Fox/ I’d visit the past/ then go back to the future… Yeah I don’t know what went through my head/ was my conscience shot/ was it left for dead/ I said I’m sorry and no one heard/ ’cause actions (actions, actions)/ Actions speak louder than words”

Okay dunno if that had much of anything to do with anything, but it’s a good song. Yay for Relient K

lol. I actually got that “cool lib” on, ummm-ha. i forget.  But yeah, so I enjoy actually lighting microphones on fire. how fun.
Anyway, I saw your entry about Chris Rice and thought it was very inter-esting. I really like the songs he sings, but i have yet to listen to the color 9 lyrics.  I think he has fun songs. But, hey-everyone has a different style.
    ~Thanks for writing a comment.

Ever read any George MacDonald? I’ve found such a beautiful passage in one of his books about going back. Of course it’s better in context, but it’s great standing alone as well.

” ‘The old days never come again, but do you know why . . .? Because they would get in the way of the new better days, who’s turn it is now. Tell God all about it, and he will give us better days thatn those. To some such a statement seems absurd. But it is just what we need – that kind of faith in him. Always before, when I have seemed to be just at the last gasp, things have taken a turn, and it has grown possible to go on again. And I have just such a hope for you.’ “

‘Course, if you want to get technical, there is quite a difference between going back and going again. And I’m guessing from all your talk about Mexico, that you are talking about going to Mexico again. Correct?
