Tonight is Katie’s benefit for African orphans.
Tonight is also Global Night Commute from InvisibleChildren.com.
Lets see what God can do.
you have always seen the best parts of me
with my uncovered eyes
loose from lenses absorbing light
your hand is wrapped in mine
the sun set for the last time
carpet stains from coffee cups
thrown to stop from hurting so much
paralyzed, I thought I’d fail you somehow
and let you down
but you saved me from death,
awake and alive for the first time
joining as voices sing, together,
the same song
Did you write that last part? I liked it.
Good post. I have the same question as Andrew. If you did you are very poetic. You’re good with words. If you didn’t write it. The person who wrote it sure is.
Ok. BUT! You’re good with words too. And you are very poetic also. Maybe even more. 🙂
hah, Emery 🙂
I heard about those kids on Oprah several months ago and was stoked when I saw that my friend posted the link on her site. The guys who did it are really getting the word out there. And yes, prayer is of the most importance.
Gosh I love that CD!!! every song on it is awesome I have to say but I really like this one 🙂 🙂 🙂 have fuuuunnnnn!
